A couple of hours with me because I too want to get involved in the cause for Tibet.
A tragic situation that leaves me speechless
But we too are flowers and we do not wish just to cry for flowers which fade but to give life to roots which will flourish.

Tibet is the roof of the world. What consequence will there be depositing in Tibet nuclear waste? The Chinese economic miracle is based on the indiscriminate exploitation of people and the natural resources of the planet. Tibet is but one of the many victims. We are passionate about the destiny and future of this population.
We have developed 9 projects and looking at www.costafoundation.org you will see the point at which we are at with each one and the total cost involved. Some are in phase of execution, others, and we can all be proud of the fact, are already complete. Despite the success enjoyed funds are never sufficient and it is for this reason that we turn to you and invite your contribution in the form of an auction!
We are putting up for auction the time of family and friends, time generously offered, hoping that it be converted into money through your generosity in bidding for it and enjoying the benefits! Yours for the winning is – an afternoon in the studio of Zucchero and so witnessing the preparation for the Tour introducing the new album Chocabeck; a break with Enrico Doris, perhaps being together with him in that magic circle that he designs, a couple of hours with Enrico Mentana, a real breaking news story; a session with the electric sounds of Pooh; a journey into the delights of pasta with Giovanni Rana. The list goes on and embraces Beppe Severgnini, Vittorio Brumotti, Mario Cipollini, Gad Lerner, Linus and Mauro Corona.
The profits will go in their entirety to the children of Tibet, children for whom India has kindly offered a home. Schools, reception centres, hospitals will be the result of your generosity. The first ‘auction of time’ started yesterday, 31st March, with Zucchero. You are all kindly invited to take part. Gift some precious moments to a partner, friend, or child. All you need is time and generosity!
