Thinking of something good

 Walking the city streets
Feeling all alone
Tram tram of choking traffic
Driving me near the verge
Only thing which rests for me
Is the comfort of my mind
And there deep within
I drift to places I adore
Freshness, stillness, and nature for a friend
There up high in the valley of Ladins
I find the meaning which sustains me
And the simple joys happy to move me
Wildlife and flying creatures surround
Mountain peaks and pure rock faces abound
Yet there is no fear in my step
For here I feel at home
Far more so than in this maddening crowd
Where all too often reality is grey cloud.
