Hospitality at hotel La Perla comes direct from we colleagues

Rather than responsibility we speak of sensitivity; rather than obligations we believe in values: this is our style of company management where the core focus is on the individual.
Hospitality at hotel La Perla comes direct from we colleagues

"Our training course might appear somewhat of an anomaly in that that they are based on the communication of values and not the imposition of duties."
Instead of human resources we prefer the phrase human relations, we prefer mention of colleagues as opposed to employees. Our style of company management sees the individual at the centre of all. Rather than responsibility we speak of sensitivity; rather than obligations we believe in values: this is our style of company management where the core focus is on the individual with hospitality as the essential objective. A decent standard of hospitality certainly requires a professional approach but this in itself is not sufficient. Hospitality is above all else transmitted through the prevailing atmosphere. The guest who visits and returns to us does so because he or she appreciates the emphasis on value which we give to hospitality, because the atmosphere experienced is one which only persons well educated, understanding persons who believe in shared values know how to transmit. For this very reason we look to establish as a first priority human relations in our every action and put the individual at the centre of each and every activity which is carried out in the hotel. As already said we, rather than responsibility, prefer to concentrate on sensitivity. Our training course might appear somewhat of an anomaly in that that they are based on the communication of values and not the imposition of duties. It is important that the values are of an ongoing nature and will remain with the individual in time after the working experience at La Perla. Fine behaviour is for us a value, as is attention paid so as not to waste, as is to manage in the best way possible resources and refuse. Eco-sustainability is for us a value, and simple but not necessarily common gestures such as a smile, acts of kindness, and expressions of goodwill are also values we hold dear. A jacket, a gilet, a tie well carried are important characteristics, as is a warm greeting to others. Consideration and attention to guests, persons in general, and to those who work alongside you is a value. Before the start of every winter season all we colleagues, new and old, live a full immersion in the Hotel whereby we know exactly how it is in every aspect from top to bottom. This routine goes from the kitchen to the Spa, from the restaurants to the bedrooms, from the wine-cellars to the garage, to each and every space in the hotel. In this way there cannot be any equivocal matters between colleagues and guests. Only in this way can we feel part of a shared project in which the responsibility, sense of cooperation, and contribution become part of a single behaviour. We want that all colleagues live a complete and particular experience which will stay with them in time and be of use in future work situations. Our work culture needs to coincide with the personal growth of each individual. We believe in a style which is not of title only but is the most direct vehicle to communicate with the guest. If the individual is at the centre of each activity performed, hospitality is always the centre of each and every activity of Hotel La Perla.
