Mahatma Wine

They might not be men of the King, nor carry swords at their side, nor boast extremely long moustaches, nor wear knee length boots of leather but there are three of them as in the tale of The Three Musketeers. The treasures they protect are those of the wine cellar and I had the honour to be led through the maze that contains such names as Sassicaia, Chateau D’Yquem, Champagne, and Romaneè-Conti. I am not telling which of Merch, Pio and Manuel it was who lost my recommended list of wines to taste amongst those 30,000 bottles but suffice to say that friends we do indeed remain!
